There are over 1 million homeless students in schools nationwide. Less than 25% of them will actually graduate High School. Children make up 27% — the fastest growing segment — of the U.S. homeless population, and there’s no end in sight; the recession has forced many families out of their homes, making these youth just another group on the long list of victims, moving from couch to couch, shelter to shelter. The statistics on youth homelessness are staggering. In 2 years the number of homeless youth has increased by 100%. Sadly these children have been overlooked for far too long. According to the US Justice Department 1 in 3 children on the street will be forced into prostitution within only 48 hours. We must reach reach out with compassion and help these children who desperately need our help.

It’s all about: aware – ness (Webster’s Dictionary)
Perception, knowledge; to have knowledge of something; implies that one has become alive to something and is on alert.
Awareness team: Our awareness team is a group of of dedicated individuals who are committed to ensuring that every person in America become aware of the millions of children we are working to help. Sadly few know that there are millions of homeless children in America, and that hundreds of thousands of children are sexually exploited each year.

We do this by creating campaigns nationally that will engage policymakers constituents, and encourage them to ask their legislators to support key pieces of legislation that will help these children.
What are we working on now?
